An accessible town

Sant'Antonino di Susa is essentially flat, so it is the ideal vacation spot for those with walking problems, whether they are disabled or elderly people.

All services are located on the main Via Torino and can be reached by walking a short distance from the residence, which is located right in the center of the town . In the surroundings there are also numerous tourist attractions.

A two-room and a four-room apartment are both equipped for disabled guests: an elevator means that there are no worries about climbing the stairs.

Wide rooms

The internal and external doors are wide, the spaces allow the freedom to move without difficulty in a wheelchair. Even balconies and terraces are fully accessible, so they can be enjoyed by all guests

Special restrooms

The bathrooms have been built with the needs of guests with disabilities in mind, so they feature a toilet with hand shower, floor-to-ceiling shower tray and wall-hung washbasin

Avigliana Lakes Natural Park: large lake and small lake

The Avigliana Lakes Natural Park, established in 1980, is located at the mouth of the Susa Valley, at the foot of Mount Pirchiriano on which stands the ancient abbey of the Sacra di San Michele, just over 12 miles from Turin. Signposted parking spaces for the disabled. Possibility to enter the park of the small lake by car if you have a badge . Accessibility to the rooms on each floor by lifts. Disabled toilet facilities available. On site, brochures and illustrative maps in Braille are available, as well as audio guide service for the blind. Type of terrain: slightly hilly, maximum slope 10%.

Orsiera Rocciavrè Park, Chianocco Reserve

The park is located in a high mountain environment with 4 peaks above 2,800 meters (9100 ft. Monte Orsiera, Rocca Nera, Punta Cristallina, P. della Gavia). The landscape is characterized by the presence of numerous lakes of glacial origin especially in the central eastern sector of the park (Chardonnet, La Mania, Lago Soprano, Lago Sottano etc.). In the south-eastern sector, where the green stones emerge, the morphology is harsh and wild with scarce and mainly shrubby vegetation. Access: public transport Sapav bus lines, car to San Giorio di Susa (the last 1.2 miles are unpaved).

Accessible routes for the disabled : a path accessible to the visually impaired (visually impaired and blind) has recently been created in "Laghi Paradiso" in the municipality of San Giorio. For information PARKS.IT
